BREAKING NEWS | CD Estepona Signs Bakary Sow, According to COPE

The 20-year-old Senegalese forward is joining on a free transfer following his departure from Sevilla FC, according to a report by Diego Partida on COPE Marbella.
CD Estepona has reportedly finalized the signing of 20-year-old Senegalese forward Bakary Sow to bolster the offense of the team coached by Manolo Sánchez, as reported on Monday by Diego Partida, sports director at COPE Marbella.
Sow, 20, arrives on a free transfer after ending his stint with Sevilla FC, where he was part of the Seville-based club’s U-23 squad.
The player will thus join CD Estepona, which continues to shape its roster ahead of the 2026/27 season in Segunda Federación, with the team’s league opener set to take place this Saturday at the Francisco Muñoz Pérez stadium against Xerez CD.
Sow’s arrival would provide another option for Manolo Sánchez’s attack, joining a roster that already includes players such as Ariel Herrero, David Ballarín, Samu Expósito, Maxi Benítez, and Nacho Ramón.
The news was exclusively reported by Diego Partida (@partidacope). CD Estepona has not yet issued an official statement regarding the signing, so the club’s announcement is still pending.
Here at CD Estepona Fans, we’ll be keeping an eye out for official confirmation and all the details of the deal.
