Terms of Use

1. Purpose and scope

These Terms govern the use of the www.cdesteponafans.com website and of the CD Estepona Fans iOS and Android apps (together, "the service").

2. Independent project

CD Estepona Fans is an independent fan project and news outlet about CD Estepona. It is not the club, it is not the official CD Estepona app, and it is not affiliated with the club or speaking on its behalf.

The names, crests and trademarks of the club and of other organisations belong to their respective owners. They are mentioned for information purposes only.

3. Acceptance

Accessing and using the service means accepting these Terms and the Privacy Policy published on this site. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

4. Access to the service

The service is free and does not require an account. Push notifications are optional and you can turn them off at any time.

5. Editorial content

News, match reports, opinion pieces and other editorial content are published for information purposes and reflect the views of CD Estepona Fans, not those of the club. We try to keep them accurate, but they may contain errors or become out of date.

6. Match information and notifications

Results, fixtures, line-ups, standings, statistics and live alerts come partly from external sources and automated processes. They may contain errors, delays or omissions and may be corrected later (for example, when a goal is disallowed). Notification delivery depends on Apple and Google services and on your device settings, so we cannot guarantee that notifications arrive or that they arrive on time. Do not use this information as an official source.

7. La Quiniela

La Quiniela is a free competition organised by CD Estepona Fans and governed by the rules published on its page of the website. Participants' names and scores are published in the ranking on the website and in the apps, including in previous seasons' rankings. Only the photos of participants who accepted their use when we asked them through Facebook are published. Removal of a name or photo can be requested as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Photographs and intellectual property

The texts, photographs, designs and other content of the service are protected by intellectual property rights belonging to CD Estepona Fans or to their respective owners. You may view them, share links to them and, where the service allows it, save photographs for your personal, non-commercial use. Reproducing, distributing or commercially exploiting them without permission is not allowed.

Photographs of La Quiniela participants belong to their respective owners and may not be reused by others.

If you believe any content infringes your rights, write to us at info@cdesteponafans.com.

9. Third-party links and content

The service includes third-party links and content, such as YouTube videos, iVoox audio, posts and profiles on Facebook (by Meta) and other social networks, subscribable calendars and sponsor links. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or policies, which are governed by their own terms. The presence of a sponsor or a link does not imply our endorsement.

10. YouTube API Services

This service uses YouTube API Services to show information about live or upcoming videos. By using it, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://www.google.com/policies/privacy).

11. Permitted use

You must not use the service for unlawful purposes, interfere with its operation, access it abusively or present it as an official CD Estepona service. We may suspend or limit access in case of misuse.

12. Availability and liability

We provide the service as is and may modify it, suspend it or remove features or content at any time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from interruptions, errors in the information or the use of linked third-party services.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the service after the changes means you accept them.

14. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, write to us at info@cdesteponafans.com. Postal address: Avenida España, Estepona (Málaga), Spain.
