Cookie Policy
This website uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies. This policy covers the website only: the CD Estepona Fans iOS and Android apps do not use cookies.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. We also use similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage), to remember preferences and for the basic operation of the site.
Types of cookies and storage we use
Technical, necessary for the site to work
- NEXT_LOCALE (cookie): remembers the chosen language.
- cookie-consent (localStorage): stores whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies.
- subscribe-modal-closed (localStorage): remembers that you closed the subscription window.
- Read and banner session keys (sessionStorage): avoid counting the same read or impression twice. They are deleted when you close the tab.
- token (cookie): only for authorised staff signing in to the admin panel. It expires after 7 days.
Analytics, only if you accept them
- Google Analytics 4 cookies.
- Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, to measure the site's usage and performance.
- They are not loaded if you reject analytics cookies, nor until you have made a choice.
Third-party, in embedded content
- YouTube videos (youtube.com) and iVoox players included on some pages may set their own cookies and receive technical data from your browser.
- This content currently loads when you visit the page, including before you have made a choice in the banner.
- It is governed by Google's and iVoox's policies.
Managing cookies
You can accept or reject analytics cookies from the banner shown on your first visit. The site does not currently offer a button to change that choice later: to change it, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will appear again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Personal data collection
Analytics and third-party cookies may involve processing online identifiers and browsing data, which may be considered personal data. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
