The CD Estepona reserve team drew 1-1 against Cala del Moral in Matchday 2 of the 1st Andalusian Senior League (Málaga).
The Estepona squad included Pomares, a first-team player who was called down to play in this match. The reserve team controlled possession for much of the game, though they were unable to convert that dominance into clear scoring chances.
After creating two or three chances, the score became 1-0 in the 27th minute. Calum Hatton Warbrick scored to put CD Estepona ahead.
After the goal, the match shifted, and Cala del Moral began to take control of the game. The visiting team managed to equalize in the 66th minute, following a set piece from a corner kick, setting the final score at 1-1.
In the closing stages, the reserve team tried to regain the lead but failed to create the necessary threat to secure the three points.

Meanwhile, the CD Estepona Juvenil A team drew 0-0 against Puerto Malagueño on Matchday 2 of the 2nd Andalusian Youth League (Málaga).
The match left a positive impression regarding the Estepona team’s play and attitude. Puerto Malagueño is a team with promotion aspirations and put up a strong, competitive performance.
Despite this, the Juvenil A team played well, created numerous scoring chances, and displayed a positive attitude throughout the match. The main problem was finishing, especially in the final meters, where the Estepona team was unable to capitalize on the chances they created.
The score remained unchanged throughout the 90 minutes, and both teams ended up splitting the points with a 0-0 draw.
