The Red Club Sets a New Record Just Days Before Returning to Muñoz Pérez to Host Linares Deportivo

CD Estepona continues to break its own season-ticket sales records. The Red-and-White club announced on Thursday that more than 1,600 fans have already purchased season tickets for the 2026–27 season, a figure that once again sets a new record for the club.

On social media, the club celebrated the milestone with a message to the fans:

“Spectacular! We now have more than 1,600 Red supporters with season tickets. Thank you, fans. We’ll see you this Saturday at Muñoz Pérez!”

The figure comes just a few days after the league opener against Xerez CD, which ended in a scoreless draw (0-0) at the Francisco Muñoz Pérez Stadium, where around 2,500 spectators were in attendance.

A Record That Keeps Growing

The figure is even more significant when viewed in the context of the club’s growth over the summer.

In August, CD Estepona surpassed 1,400 season ticket holders, setting a new club record at the time. Subsequently, the club reached 1,500 season ticket holders, a figure that already seemed to confirm the strong support surrounding the new project.

Now, with more than 1,600, that mark has once again been surpassed.

The fans’ response thus remains one of the biggest stories of the start of this season. The team secured its place in the league last season after an extraordinary second half of the season and now faces a new campaign in Segunda Federación with Manolo Sánchez at the helm.

The Muñoz Pérez Stadium Hosts Another Match This Saturday

The next chapter unfolds this Saturday.

Following the draw against Xerez, CD Estepona will once again play a home league match against Linares Deportivo on the second matchday of the season.

The match will once again be played at the Francisco Muñoz Pérez, a venue that already enjoyed a great atmosphere last Saturday as the season resumed.

The club has also taken advantage of the announcement that it has reached 1,600 season-ticket holders to issue another call to its fans: “We’re waiting for you this Saturday at the Muñoz Pérez.”

With the team earning its first point of the season and a fan base that continues to grow, the goal now is to secure the first league victory of the season against Linares.

More than 1,600 season-ticket holders. A new record. And the Muñoz Pérez is once again gearing up for another night of soccer.
