CD Estepona Dons Pink to Fight Breast Cancer: A T-Shirt to Support the AECC in Estepona

The club and the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) are unveiling a charity jersey that will go on sale this Sunday, October 11, with all proceeds going to the AECC in Estepona
CD Estepona is once again demonstrating that soccer can also be a tool for raising awareness of causes that go far beyond the soccer field. The club and the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in Estepona have joined forces in honor of International Breast Cancer Awareness Day, observed on October 19, to launch a very special charity T-shirt.
This initiative centers on soccer, the color pink, and, above all, all those women who have faced or are facing this disease.
The jersey, designed specifically for this campaign, replaces the team’s usual colors with a combination of pink and white and features various elements identifying the AECC, making it the symbol of a campaign that aims to turn every sale into an act of support.
A T-shirt with a cause behind it
The T-shirt will be priced at 40 euros and will be a limited edition. The most important aspect of this initiative lies behind every sale: the proceeds will go to the AECC in Estepona.
Sales will begin this Sunday, October 11, starting at 6:00 p.m., at the official CD Estepona store located on Francisco Muñoz Pérez.
This way, fans will have the chance to take home a special jersey and, at the same time, directly contribute to a cause that affects thousands of women and families.
A jersey that, on this occasion, represents much more than just colors.
Soccer, Standing with the Women Leading the Way
The campaign also features three women from the AECC in Estepona who have overcome breast cancer and who participated in the photo shoot to unveil the jersey alongside CD Estepona players Cristian Fernández “Titi” and Bakary Sow.
The images convey precisely the message this initiative aims to send: strength, unity, and hope.

The AECC, Also Featured on the Jersey
The back of the jersey prominently displays the logo of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, reinforcing the charitable nature of the initiative.
This isn’t just a special CD Estepona T-shirt; it’s a garment created specifically to shine a spotlight on the fight against breast cancer and make it easier for fans to support the association.

It will also be featured on the field
The campaign will also be featured at CD Estepona’s games.
This Sunday, October 11, coinciding with the match between CD Estepona and Club Atlético Central at the Francisco Muñoz Pérez Stadium, the AECC of Estepona will perform the ceremonial kickoff.
But the main event will take place a week later.
On October 18, coinciding with CD Estepona’s match at 12:00 p.m. at the Campo de la Dama de Noche against Marbella FC, the players in the starting lineup will take the field wearing the commemorative jersey.
Later, before kickoff, the players will change into their official uniforms to play the match.

CD Estepona Fans: An Initiative That Deserves Our Full Support
Here at CD Estepona Fans, we also want to lend our voice to this initiative.
A T-shirt can be much more than just a T-shirt when there’s a cause behind it. And in this case, since the proceeds from its sale will go to the AECC in Estepona, every purchase also becomes a way to help.
That’s why we encourage all CD Estepona fans—and anyone else who wants to help—to learn about this initiative and, if they can, to purchase one of these charity T-shirts.
