HARD-FOUGHT VICTORY OVER TRABUCO

Triumph by the minimum (2-1) and very worked of the boys of our subsidiary, against CD Trabuco, played in the morning of this morning.

As we are used to, our boys came out very strong, and always looking for the opponent's goal. And very soon, the reward came, after 3 minutes Nando, with a great volley goal, put the 1-0 on the scoreboard.

But the visitors, true to their style, did not break down, and continued to play in a low block, with a strong defense, but in attack, when they found space, they tried to take their chances, which fortunately we defended well. But we kept playing almost all the time in the opponent's field, and creating numerous chances to have scored more goals. And it was on the stroke of halftime, when a good run by Rodney, was well finished off by Dioni, who put the 2-0 with which we reached the break.

In the second half, the visitors advanced lines, and increased their intensity a little, with the desire to try to close the gap. But our good defense, made all those attempts in vain. Antonio Sanchez's boys continued with their plan, to play in the opposite field and try to increase the score, which we were able to do with chances by Luis Felipe and Maxi.

But, paradoxically, a defensive mistake of ours, was not wasted by Trabuco, who got into the game. From then on, we knew how to play the final minutes, with a lot of ball possession and without conceding more chances from the rival. The visitors were left with 10 players, when their goalkeeper was sent off, after knocking down Luis Felipe when he was facing the goal.

Finally, 3 very important points, which stayed at home again. And most importantly, with a good image, showing a serious and cheerful game. In short, a very well worked team, which is placed in the upper part of the table, with 11 points and only 2 defeats in 7 games. congratulations guys, we are ESTEPONA! ⚽❤️💙⚽
