**CD Estepona faces this coming Saturday (20:30h) a real final against Recreativo de Huelva. The team coached by Mikel Llorente has the urgent need, after a bad start to the league, to get, once and for all, the victory.

Although it is not going through the best moments of its history, neither institutionally nor sportingly, and is submerged in a deep lethargy -outside professional football- that has lasted more than ten years, to talk about Recreativo de Huelva is a big word, since we are talking about the oldest club in Spanish football.

There are more than 135 years that contemplate an entity that, in its long and long-lived history, lived its greatest days of glory during the first decade of the XXI century. Without going any further, in 2003 it was sub-champion of the Copa del Rey and, in addition, it played a total of four seasons in First Division, three of them consecutively (2002/03, 2006/07, 2007/08 and 2008/09).

Although far from those wonderful years, the Huelva team has suffered up to four relegations in the last decade. The last of them took place last season, after a disastrous campaign in a Primera RFEF in which they have only been able to stay for two seasons.

For this new journey in Segunda RFEF, the recreativista squad has placed its trust in the Sevillian coach Pedro Morilla. In addition, it has opted for the continuity of one of its captains and main offensive reference, Caye Quintana.
Regarding the new additions, the arrival of proven players such as Roni (Zamora CF), Pepe Mena (SD Tarazona), Álex Bernal (CD Eldense), Bonaque (AD Mérida), Javi Castellano (Panachaiki GE) and Jero (Antequera CF), among others, stand out. In the same way, the incorporations of two ex-players rojillos are also striking: the canterano Álex Carrasco and the goalkeeper from Huelva David Gil.

Recre will play an official match in Estepona 32 years later. The last time they did it was in the ** 1993/94 season**. On that occasion, they were defeated by the minimum (1-0) against extinct CD Estepona, which at that time played in Group IV of Segunda División B, with a solitary goal by Pedro Gómez (4') at the beginning of the match.

Currently, the team from Huelva arrive at Muñoz Pérez in play-offs positions, despite having lost, surprisingly, last weekend against Salerm Puente Genil (1-2). While in their league debut, they obtained an important win away against Almería B (0-2).
In the bosom of the albiazul club they have as a challenge to return the Decano to the place that corresponds to him in the national panorama; by history, by tradition and by fans. Therefore, we are talking about one of the main favorites of Group IV to achieve promotion.

The CD Estepona has before it a real test, as it urgently needs to get a victory, which seems essential to clear all the doubts that surround the red and white team. And these are dissipated as Luis Aragonés said: "Win and win and win and win and win again, that's soccer ".
