It's not about playing better. It's about winning.

There are games where everything is analyzed.

The opponent.

The system.

The details.

And then there are the others.

The ones that boil down to a single word.

Win.

Sunday’s game is one of those.

There’s no other plan

CD Estepona doesn’t need anything new.

It doesn’t need to reinvent itself.

It doesn’t need to change.

It has to do the same thing that has brought it this far.

Believe.

Compete.

Go for the win.

And give it everything.

Because that’s what turned the season around.

And that’s what has to sustain it now.

A match that defies explanation

It doesn’t matter where it’s decided.

It doesn’t matter how it happens.

It doesn’t matter if it’s from a set piece, a transition, or a small detail.

The only thing that matters is this:

If the opponent presses…

Estepona has to press harder.

If the opponent strikes…

Estepona has to respond.

And if the opponent scores…

Estepona has to score two.

Because these kinds of matches aren’t just played.

They’re fought.

The One Thing That Can’t Happen

There are many ways to lose a game.

But there’s only one that’s unacceptable.

Leaving with the feeling that something was missing.

A run.

A jump.

One more effort.

That’s the only thing that can’t happen.

Because if this team has made it this far…

it’s precisely because they’ve given it their all.

This isn’t about names

You could single out players.

The moment of some.

The importance of others.

But that would be an understatement.

Because this isn’t about three.

Or four.

It’s about everyone.

From Alfonso Liceras.

To David Pomares.

Every minute.

Every play.

Every effort.

Because what’s at stake isn’t carried by a single name.

It’s carried by a team.

Heart Above All Else

It will be a tough game.

Tense.

Demanding.

Like all of them at this stage.

But there’s something that can make the difference.

Heart.

Conviction.

The desire to go just a little further.

Because when two teams are playing for the same thing…

it’s not always the better team that wins.

The one who believes the most wins.

That’s all there is to it

It’s 90 minutes.

And there’s no need to embellish it further.

There’s no need to explain it further.

There’s no need to analyze it further.

On Sunday…

there’s only one thing.

To win.
