*DESERVED DRAW FOR THE RESERVE TEAM IN FUENGIROLA*

Our reserve team earned a great point in a thrilling match, drawing 3-3 against UD Fuengirola Los Boliches. The match began with great intensity from both teams. Our players came out very focused, and as always with the mentality of going after the opponent and bringing the 3 points back to Estepona.

And they soon made their intentions clear. In the 7th minute, Pomares took advantage of a poor clearance by the home goalkeeper and set up Luis Felipe, who made no mistake and scored with a great cross-shot. The home side reacted after the goal and began to create danger, pushing forward and looking for long balls into the space behind our defense, where they were quick and dangerous.

But, in the paradoxical nature of soccer, just when they were at their best, our second goal came, or rather, a real cracker. Our captain, Miguel Montesinos, fired a rocket from almost 30 meters out, which flew into the top corner, unstoppable.

Fuengirola did not let these two "blunders" get to them and continued to press us and try to close the gap. And on the stroke of half-time, they got their reward. A cross from the right wing was finished off by Jacob, who was unmarked, to make it 1-2. But immediately in the next play, Luis Felipe picked up the ball outside the area and surprised the goalkeeper with a beautiful chip shot. Another great goal, which brought the score to 1-3 at halftime. The second half was very different, with the home team dominating and, with the score against them, stepping up a gear and going after us relentlessly. Three minutes in, Andrés took advantage of a poor clearance by our defense and narrowed the gap again (2-3). These were their best minutes, buoyed by the goal and spurred on by their fans, they were dangerous in almost every move. Our team held up well against all the attacks and tried to break out on the counter to seal the game.

However, with 10 minutes to go, a poorly defended cross from the wing was finished off by Miguel Angel, making it 3-3. The last few minutes were a back-and-forth battle between the two teams, with either side capable of winning, but it ultimately ended in a fair draw. A great result for our reserve team against one of the best teams in the second half of the season. With this point, Antonio Sánchez's team remains at the top of the table, in playoff positions, and continues its good run of play and results, with only one defeat in the second half of the season.
