Our reserve team will face the always tough CD Ronda this Sunday in Ronda, looking to mathematically secure a spot in the promotion playoffs to the División de Honor.

After a two-week league break, our boys are coming into this crucial match with their batteries recharged and their minds set on securing the 3 points, which would qualify us for the first time in history to play in the promotion playoffs to the Division of Honor.

Proof of this has been the great training week they’ve had, though not without its challenges, as several players—for various reasons (injuries, work, etc.)—were unable to complete the full week of training.

Antonio Sánchez has had to call on players from the Cadet and Youth teams to complete the training sessions. This gives us an idea of the challenges he has faced in maintaining continuity and normalcy in everything.

"Despite all these circumstances, we’re heading into this match with the utmost enthusiasm and conviction that we’re going to secure the win there," assured our coach Antonio.

For its part, Ronda, a historic team in the division, arrives with morale sky-high after two consecutive victories that have lifted them out of the relegation zone.

For them, this match is of vital importance, as they are just three points above the relegation line, currently marked by CD Mijas, and a loss would greatly complicate the final stretch of the league season. Therefore, they’ll be counting on the “home field advantage” and the fans to carry their team to a victory that would keep them out of the relegation zone.
