There’s no long-term schedule anymore.

There’s no room to look beyond the immediate future.

The concept of “the next matchday” no longer exists.

Now it all comes down to a single playoff series.

Two games.

One opponent.

And a division on the line.

Starting this weekend, CD Estepona faces the most important moment of the entire season, and the atmosphere around the club is beginning to reflect exactly what this situation means: tension, focus, and a real sense of a final.

Because that is exactly what is coming.

A final.

And the environment is already treating it as such.

The club is now fully in competition mode

Over the last few days, the message surrounding the team has shifted.

There isn’t much noise anymore.

There are no more lengthy analyses.

There’s no room to look back.

Now everything conveys a much more concrete idea:

compete.

The images shared by the club during training sessions reflect precisely that. Intensity. Focus. Seriousness. Players fully engaged. And a Manolo Sánchez completely immersed in the playoff, shouting, correcting, and raising the competitive level of every session.

Because the situation no longer allows for half-measures.

Every training session counts.

Every detail matters.

And every decision can shape an entire season.

Much more than avoiding relegation

And that is likely the true magnitude of what lies ahead.

Because this playoff isn’t just about staying in Segunda RFEF.

It’s about everything that failing to do so would entail.

Because dropping to Tercera RFEF would mean starting over.

Starting from scratch.

Rebuilding a promotion that is never guaranteed.

Embarking once again on a long, hard journey full of uncertainty.

That’s why winning this playoff can also be viewed from another perspective:

as preventing the loss of an entire year of growth.

As sustaining the project.

As giving continuity to a structure that, since the arrival of Julen Guerrero and Manolo Sánchez, has demonstrated the ability to compete, grow, and build something substantial around the club.

And that makes what lies ahead transcend the immediate result entirely.

The second leg is already starting to be felt in Estepona

Although the first match will be played this weekend in Valdebebas, the second leg at the Francisco Muñoz Pérez is already starting to be felt in the city as a major event.

Because the atmosphere around the club has changed.

There’s talk.

There’s tension.

There’s excitement.

And there’s a sense that on Saturday, May 16, at 9:00 p.m., the stadium will experience one of those nights that define seasons.

In that context, the club announced this Wednesday that season ticket holders will receive free admission to the second leg if they activate their season ticket before Monday, May 11, in addition to announcing ticket prices for the general public.

A decision that clearly reinforces the goal of creating the best possible atmosphere for a night that could define the team’s immediate future.

Because the Muñoz Pérez will have to rise to the occasion.

And it will.

A first leg also marked by limitations

Meanwhile, the first leg will take place under much harsher conditions for the visiting fans.

CD Estepona officially announced that Real Madrid has not provided tickets for sale to visiting fans due to the limited allocation available at Valdebebas, which is primarily reserved for members of the club.

Furthermore, there will be no ticket sales at the box office on match day.

This situation clearly limits the presence of traveling fans and makes the home leg even more of the emotional focal point of this tie.

Because where a truly electric atmosphere is expected is in Estepona.

And that’s already starting to show.

No More Talk

At this stage of the season, everything is simplified.

Narratives don’t matter much anymore.

Nor do contexts.

Nor how we got here.

Now it all comes down to outperforming the opponent over two matches.

Nothing else.

And in scenarios like this, teams are usually defined by one thing:

their ability to withstand the pressure while remaining true to themselves.

That will be the true test for CD Estepona.

In maintaining their identity.

In competing with character.

In understanding that these kinds of playoffs don’t reward those who wait the longest.

They reward those who believe the most.

The most important week of the year begins

CD Estepona thus enters the most decisive days of the entire season with a very clear feeling throughout the club: this no longer feels like a regular league matchday.

It feels like a final.

Because it is.

And because everything that has been built over months is now on the line in a playoff where there is no longer any room for error.

Now it’s for real.

Now the most important part begins.
