*DEFEAT AGAINST A SERIOUS MIJAS LAS LAGUNAS*.

Our subsidiary team, has not been able to give us a joy, and has been fairly defeated by a CP Mijas Las Lagunas, which has been very serious and has shown great skill throughout the game.

The first minutes were very equal, very disputed by the two teams, who went from power to power. Mijas Lagunas is a team that plays very similar to us, they came out without complexes, with very high pressure and good ball handling.

The game could break on either side, as it was a continuous back and forth, with many transitions. But, the skill and effectiveness is a lot in this type of categories. And they, in a play on the right flank, with a good cross shot, did not forgive and went ahead on the scoreboard.

The goal did not affect us, on the contrary, they were our best minutes, in which we had numerous clear chances to have tied the match.

Rodney, had the tie twice, with a good shot that went narrowly wide and a hand to hand that stopped the goalkeeper. Also Luis Felipe, twice could have equalized, with two headers, but the goal was not on our side today. With the score at 0-1, we went to the break.

In the second half, we continued with the momentum and clear ideas to achieve the tie. But in front of us, we had a team that showed that great skill and knew how to play perfectly with the time and the scoreboard.

Our team tried everything, but as the minutes went by, we played more with our hearts than with our heads. Mijas Las Lagunas, when they arrived was with great danger, and on two occasions, Raul had to intervene with great success, to keep us in the game.

But in a quick counter, with all our team looking for the equalizer, they scored 0-2 and practically sentenced the game. It was a blow for Antonio Sanchez's boys, who saw how all the effort and sacrifice they have given, was in vain. And to put the icing on the cake to the bad afternoon for our team, in stoppage time, a bad pass from Raul that hit their striker, and put the final 0-3.

Third consecutive defeat for our boys. That ends the first round of the league, in a more than creditable sixth position, just 4 points away from the play off zone. It is time to get up and keep working as they are doing all season. Next week we return to play at home and receive a whole Málaga CF. GO ESTEPONA! ❤️💙💪🏻
