**CD Estepona receives this Saturday (19:30h) to Yeclano Deportivo in a match that will serve as a thermometer to measure the real aspirations of the red and white team. After a very poor start, with a draw and two defeats at home, getting the victory is essential to keep in sight the noble positions of the table.

After that agonizing and dramatic relegation on the last day, the Yeclano Deportivo has returned, one season later, to a Segunda RFEF in which they will try to achieve, as they did in the past, the promotion of category.

For this, the Yecla team has bet on the young Aragonese coach Iván Martínez, after doing a great job at the head of SD Ejea -with a promotion to Second RFEF included- during the last four seasons.

In terms of signings, the azulgrana team has opted for a deep renovation of its squad after last season's debacle. It has been reinforced with several players trusted by the new coach: Babacar Feidor (SD Ejea), Alejandro Puri (SD Ejea), Javier Tudela (SD Ejea) and Sergio Carrasco (SD Ejea).

In addition, important players such as Jorge Domínguez (Linares Deportivo), Pedro Melli (Penya Deportiva), Josema Gómez (Hércules) or Xabi Domínguez (Pontevedra), among others, have also arrived in Murcia.

The last time that Yeclano Deportivo visited the Francisco Muñoz Pérez was in the season 2023/24. On a day that marked the start of the second round, the Yecla team managed to win with authority (0-2), thanks to goals from Gabri and Javi Pedrosa, from the penalty spot.

Currently, the Altiplano team comes to Estepona as the worst visitor of Group IV, as it is the only team that has not managed to score away from home. They have lost all three of their outings -against Águilas FC, CD Extremadura and Xerez DFC, respectively- and, curiously, all of them with the same result (2-1).

The CD Estepona, one of the worst home teams of the group, will try to chain that second consecutive victory that allows them to climb positions in the table and, incidentally, see closer to the positions that give the right to dream of greater heights. A priori, Yeclano Deportivo seems to be the most propitious rival for this... But the precedents are not at all flattering.
