*THE AFFILIATE TEAM RELIES ON ITS FANS TO SECURE A PLAYOFF SPOT AGAINST THE CHAMPION*

Our reserve team has another chance to secure its spot in the promotion playoffs, and the match will take place tomorrow, Saturday, against the league champions, CD Málaga 1903.
Our team heads into this crucial match with high hopes and eager to reverse the negative momentum from the last two games, in which we were unable to secure the win that would have guaranteed our spot in the promotion playoffs.
On the purely sporting side, Antonio Sánchez’s squad is dealing with numerous absences—due to injuries, work commitments, illness, players called up to the first team, and so on.
Given this situation, our coach has had no choice but to call upon players from the Youth team and even the Junior team to complete the week of training, which has gone very well, as everyone is prepared and determined to ensure the 3 points stay at Muñoz Pérez.
Facing us will be none other than the League Champions, already promoted to the Division of Honor: CD Málaga 1903. A team that is the reserve squad of La Unión, competing in 2RFEF, in the same group as our First Team, and which has invested heavily in this reserve squad, with a substantial budget designed to play at a much higher level than the current one.
The results speak for themselves: they’ve lost only one game all season, conceded just 18 goals, and are League Champions with many matchdays still remaining. In short, they’re by far the best team in the league, and they’ll be coming to improve on those numbers and put the finishing touch on their excellent season.
For all these reasons, and now more than ever, the club, coaching staff, players, and everyone else are calling on our ever-loyal fans. Let’s fill the Muñoz Pérez Stadium with red jerseys and give these guys one last push—they deserve to achieve their goal after the incredible season they’ve had.
The match will take place this Saturday at 7:30 PM. At the Francisco Muñoz Pérez Stadium. COME ON, GUYS! WE’RE GOING TO DO IT. WE ARE ESTEPONA ❤️💙💪🏻
