*The reserve team begins the year with a visit to Malaka CF.*

Our affiliate team will play its first match of the year this Sunday, January 11, after the Christmas break, visiting the always challenging Malaka CF team. Antonio Sánchez's boys are back with their batteries recharged, working hard and thoroughly preparing for this clash with the sole aim of bringing home the three points.

As we have been doing all season, this start to the year will be no different, and once again several players have been called up by the first team to complete a week of training, namely Rodney, Pomares, and Santi, who join regulars Maxi and Raúl. Our team is currently in eighth place in the table, just four points away from the playoff zone. Therefore, this match must be approached with the importance it deserves, as failure to win would widen the gap between us and the top of the table. It will not be easy, as Malaka CF, a typical team in this category, is one of the most difficult teams to beat at their stadium. So much so that so far this season, they have only suffered one defeat at home, and that was on matchday 3 against the all-powerful Rincón. The team from the capital is currently in the lower half of the table, in 13th place, 6 points above the relegation zone. So we must be focused and compete to the maximum if we want to bring something positive home. The match will take place this coming Sunday, January 11, at 8:00 p.m. at the Malaka Municipal Stadium. LET'S START THE YEAR WITH A VICTORY. COME ON, ESTEPONA!! ❤️💙💪🏻
