IT'S OFFICIAL! Pablo Arriaza is CD Estepona's newest player

The Málaga-born midfielder joins Manolo Sánchez’s team on a one-season deal after participating in preseason training with the LaLiga side

CD Estepona has made a new addition to its 2026–27 roster. On Tuesday, the club officially announced the signing of Pablo Arriaza, who arrives on a one-season loan from Málaga CF.

The Málaga-born midfielder thus joins Manolo Sánchez’s squad after participating in preseason training with Málaga CF, which currently competes in LaLiga.

Arriaza is a player who came up through the Málaga CF youth system and has experience in Segunda Federación, a division he is already familiar with following his time with Atlético Malagueño.

The move marks a new addition to CD Estepona’s midfield as the club continues to shape its roster in the final hours of the transfer window and just days before its league debut.

The Rojillos will make their debut this Saturday, September 5, at 9:00 p.m. at the Francisco Muñoz Pérez Stadium against Xerez CD, on the first matchday of the Segunda Federación.

Arriaza’s arrival had been reported earlier in the day by Radio Marca Málaga, a report that was later officially confirmed by CD Estepona.
